THE HUSBAND APPTerms of Service
The Husband App is operated by Nucleus Family App LLC.
Welcome to The Husband App. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Husband App application and website at nucleus.family (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Husband App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
The Husband App is a household coordination application that helps couples and families manage shared calendars, tasks, goals, and the mental load of running a household. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
3. Your Account
- You sign in with your Google account.
- You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms.
4. Households and Shared Content
The Husband App is built around households. When you join or create a household, content you add (tasks, events, notes, check-ins, etc.) is visible to all members of that household. By inviting another person, you confirm that you have permission to share household information with them. You are responsible for who you invite into your household.
5. Google Account Integrations
The Husband App integrates with Google Calendar (read and write) and Google Tasks (read & write) when you authorize it. This lets The Husband App show your events and keep your Google Calendar in sync with events you add, edit, or delete in The Husband App. You may revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Your use of Google services is also governed by Google's own terms.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate another person
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, household, or system
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in The Husband App. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to operate The Husband App and provide it to you and your household members.
You are responsible for the content you create. Don't store anything in The Husband App that you wouldn't be comfortable sharing with the people in your household.
8. Beta Status & Changes to the Service
The Husband App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The Service may include experimental or beta features. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service without liability.
9. Termination
You may stop using The Husband App at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting support@nucleus.family. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOU USE THE HUSBAND APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL NUCLEUS FAMILY APP LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nucleus Family App LLC harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Husband App is operated, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
